Default Girl of 6 repeatedly sexually abused by 23 classmates

A horrified mum told yesterday how her six-year-old daughter was repeatedly stripped and sexually abused at school - by 23 of her classmates.

The terrified girl was attacked every day in the school grounds by a mob of pupils her own age - under the noses of unsuspecting teachers.

However shocked we feel, we must remember a six-year-old only has a vague sense of right and wrong, and this largely depends on home upbringing.

Above all, we must not see this awful event as a sign of the dreadful state of the UK. Because if our kids are going to the dogs, it's not society at large that's to blame, but what happens at home.

Sallaam,
I am failing to see the point of posting the article without any kind of opinion given. I am assuming you are merely trying to highlight the degradation of this society.

Whats makes you think these kind of things will not go on within an Islamic state?

Would you have posted the article if it was a predominantly muslim country this had happened in?

I think there is a danger of posting "headline" articles. One can argue that muslims around the world are committing haram everyday, and these actions could be just as headline grabbing as the one you have posted with the difference being that the muslims are cloaked behind a beard or a Jilbab.

I am sure even within an Islamic state human beings in there capacity as human beings will commit sin regardless of what that sin is.

I am merely pointing out that this medium of communication can be accessed by millions of people so lets use it to portray ideas that lay foundations for people and they can use as building blocks. Not take cheap shots at the kuffar..

Please take this as advice.

Wasallaam

Poor kid, may Allah (swt) ease her pain- ameen. I'm disturbed by the fact that this was going on regularly and the teachers and parents had no idea. Even if the teachers are on their break when it happens, children are still supposed to be supervised in the playground by staff. Someone, somewhere failed in their duty to keep track of them. Unfortunately I know in some schools they employ some completely useless people (some who even do more harm than good) as lunchtime supervisors as it's cheaper to employ someone unqualified and they're not bound by similar training/regulations because they aren't involved in an active teaching role themselves. Sure they shouldn't be expected to go through years of teacher training but that doesn't mean they can get away with doing a terrible job either.

My suspicion is that they were the weak link in the running of the school. I could be wrong though, sometimes it's the fault of a class teacher or a poorly run school. Some schools like to turn a blind eye to horrific forms of bullying and attempt a cover up to protect the school's reputation rather than hold anyone accountable. I've seen this happen to kids a few times myself although that was more in the context of general bullying, alhamdullilah I've not yet had to deal with sexual abuse type incidents among the pupils I dealt with.
