Default Main Obstacles Preventing the Rise of Islam?

Salaam-alaykum,

Although there are many obstacles which are stopping Islam from becoming the super power it once was, but what would you say are the key ones?

This will enable the dawah to be more effective (when speaking to muslims) and more focused on the "top priority" issues.

Note that these are not in order but just a list of the most obvious issues.

1. The intellectual decline of the muslims. i.e. lack of knowledge of the deen and sirah.

2. The Comcept of nationalism and the emergence of tribalism

3. The Corrupt Puppet Regime and its agents.

4. The misconceptions of islam put into the muslims mind to secularise islam and making every1 believe that the 5 pillars of islam is all their is too it

Al Somal beat me to it. That's an excellent summary mashallah. The most obvious sign of weakness among the Muslims is the lack of physical power in the form of a state but the less obvious and more troubling weakness is largely in the intellectual understanding of Islam and Muslims falling for the conspiracies and plots of the Kufaar (ie nationalism, democracy, depoliticisation of the deen through sufism etc).

The main obstacles are in mobilizing the Ummah to get on board and start working for the same aim rather than agreeing with us but then never having the time to commit - something always comes-up, there is some business or family matter to take care off etc etc.

It would be good to highlight what thoughts we need to weaken and eliminate which prevent Muslims from getting on board?

Salaam alaikum

1. The intellectual decline resides in the inability in the Ummah to recognize the requirement to advocate the enlightened thought which addresses the sunnatul Allah:

13:11 Åöäøó Çááøåó áÇó íõÛóíøöÑõ ãóÇ ÈöÞóæúãò ÍóÊøóì íõÛóíøöÑõæÇú ãóÇ ÈöÃóäúÝõÓöåöãú

13:11 "Verily, God does not change people's condition unless they change their inner selves"

The propagation of the thought has become replaced with the notion of the morals of the individual as the critical matter. Hence, it is common to find the idea that merely propagating morals in the society will bring about the change in the individual which will bring about the change in the society.

An additional issue problem:

5. The Quality of the Dawah Carrier is insufficient to propagate the idea and lead the Ummah.
That is, the insufficiencies of the Dawah carrier serve in various ways to inhibit the Dawah to be propagated.
