Looks like some US soldiers wanted to save the other soldiers, getting ready to go to Afghanistan, the trouble of going there and coming back in coffins and on stretchers.
Army: 12 die in dual shootings at Fort Hood, Texas FORT HOOD, Texas — A soldier opened fire at a U.S. Army base in Fort Hood, Texas on Thursday, unleashing a stream of gunfire that left 12 people dead and 31 wounded. Authorities killed the gunman, and apprehended two other soldiers suspected in the attack. The shooting began around 1:30 p.m., Lt. Gen. Bob Cone said at a news conference. He said all the casualties took place at the base's Soldier Readiness Center, where soldiers who are about to be deployed or who are returning undergo medical screening. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...w7Y3gD9BPLDAG2 Last edited by abujamal; 05-11-2009 at 11:23 PM. |

at least it saved the american government money from bringing the bodies back.
when the frustration and the recognission of death becomes so "in your face" and you havnt been given i criterion to use when satisfying your desires, your desire become your god and you will do whatever it takes, to attend to that internal agitation. this guy couldnt take it any more and gave very little thought, and did what he wanted.

salaam aleikum,
I would urge more caution before commenting until all of the facts are in, especially since in the initial media frenzy frequently alleged "facts" are wrong and distorted, later to be quietly corrected. 3 other things to keep in mind: 1. The shooter was a Muslim of Palestinian/Jordanian descent. BORN and RAISED a Muslim in America but with parents from Jordan. Some more background information here and here. 2. He was depressed and distraught over not being able to get married (seen as "too strict" by girls) and having to go to Iraq which he was set to do shortly. His cousin is quoted here and his aunt here -- as stating he was on the receiving end of lots of harassment and racial/religious taunts for being a Muslim and in the U.S. military. 3. I would urge you to look carefully at what statements "American" Muslim groups -- CAIR, ISNA, MPAC, and the Hamza Yusuf worshiping cult put out within the next few weeks or so. As usual, they will try to butter up the American govt. with as much groveling and polish as they can and will run, not walk, away from any association they may have with him as a Muslim. Of course, absolutely NO questions about how the Iraq or Afghan wars could have played a role in this, or what business Muslims in America have in the U.S. armed forces in the first place. Further this should be used as a teaching moment about the Islamic concepts of wal'aa and bar'aa (loyalty and allegiance) [if there any links/fliers on this please post them here or in another post]. It is more proof of why Muslims in America as well as in other western countries joining a kufr army (even for free education) is ideologically contradictory (at some point you WILL have to shoot and kill other Muslims in the Muslim world under the American flag) as well as ultimately robs you of both whatever fleeting gains you may have gotten in the dunya as well as ultimately of your deen. salaam aleikum Last edited by dawahcarrier25; 06-11-2009 at 04:02 AM. |

I agree with Dawahcarrier.
These actions, do they contribute to carrying the message of Islam to mankind? Or do they hinder the efforts to carry the message? He signed a contract regarding his commission to serve in exchange for his medical education. He put himself in that situation which compromised himself. There are other Muslims who have joined the military and have been compromised like him, but they opted to go be AWOL (absent without leave), or refuse their command and be sent to prison, discharged and indebted to pay the remainder of their education costs. There was a way out for him. But if all the information was accurate, he suffered from a few factors: 1) the US military personnel share, unofficially of course, a great deal of prejudice and bigotry towards Muslims. Enlisted men in particular given they are less cultured and educated. But Im sure he found little refuge nigotry at Fort Hood Texas where many folks are proud of anti Muslim bigotry. And men who have not served are far more gungho and harbor prejudices than those who have served and understand the humanity of their enemy. 2) If he was treating enlisted men who served in Iraq and Afghanistan for the several years he worked at Walter Reed medical center in Wash DC, he had to deal with PTSD and mental pathologies that border on psychosis for many men. These men likely shared their blackhearted ignorant hatred of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan (eg. " I hate all hajjis, they killed my buddy and blew up my leg" ) with him and attempted in their feeble way to justify the atrocities they committed. Thus, he likely had suffered some kind of psychological problems dealing with these soldiers who expressed hatred of Muslims. As the saying goes: physician, heal thyself. This is not so easy and a good doctor would go to other doctors to treat himself. Perhaps he did not do this. 3)Or all of this and he had personal problems which he never resolved and they became worse when he left his stable life in Wash DC and went to Texas (ugh). A Muslim doctor that's not married? That seems difficult to accomplish given that many families would love to marry their daughters to a doctor. And Im sure he could find Jordanian military families who would be willing to marry their daughter to him, if he was of sound mind and character. Subhanna Allah. |

I'm very surprised that the reason for him having difficulty finding a spouse was that he was "too religious". For someone working in the US army, I'd have thought the opposite would be true: that Muslims in good conscience wouldn't want their daughters to marry someone in the US army- but then again, it is America so Allahu Alim. I'm also surprised that it took so long for an incident like this to occur. I'd have thought there would be a number of brothers in the army who'd face a crisis of conscience when they get a wake up call as to what it really means to be at war with Muslims and so I'm surprised more of them haven't snapped like this already. I have heard of a few relatively minor incidents though (a brother in Afghanistan who threw a grenade into one of the army tents) but that's about it.
To be honest, a lot of people cast doubt on the iman of a Muslim who agrees to join the British or American army but I see this as a good thing that there must have been some iman in there for him to take such a big step as this. Allahu Alim, only Allah (swt) knows what is in peoples hearts I'm just thinking out loud here.

Everything About Nidal Malik Hasan Screams “Patsy”
Posted By admin On November 6, 2009 @ 6:36 am In Featured Stories, News In Focus, Paul Watson Articles | 359 Comments Killer’s pre-rampage behavior is completely at odds with the idea of him preparing to massacre more than a dozen of his colleagues. Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.com [1] Friday, November 6, 2009 The Empire strikes back – right when when public support for the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan sinks to all time lows, an anti-war Islamic extremist with links to suicide bombers goes on a shooting rampage at a U.S. army base, reinvigorating support for the war on terror and demonizing opposition to it as anti-American extremism. The scam would be believable if it wasn’t so perfectly staged. Without getting into convoluted conspiracy theories about mind control and whatever else, not that they aren’t without merit, the facts we already know about Hasan and his behavior prior to the deadly shootings just screams out “patsy” and “set-up” and almost exactly mirrors other terror scams the Empire has run in the past. Just like the would-be liquid bombers that were supposedly planning on bringing down multiple airliners in August 2006, who were caught on CCTV buying bulk supplies of cake [2] in the very hours before the plot, Hasan’s pre-shooting behavior contradicts completely the idea that he was preparing for a deadly rampage. Shortly before the massacre, Hasan was caught on camera shopping at the convenience store [3] located on the army base – laughing and joking. Is this the behavior of a man psychologically readying himself for the high-intensity horror of gunning down dozens of his colleagues, or someone unaware of what was to follow? We learn that Hasan “Showed no signs of worry or stress when he stopped at 7-Eleven for his daily breakfast of hash browns, said Jeannie Strickland, the store’s manager.” ” He came in (Thursday) morning just like normal,” she said, “nothing weird, nothing out of the ordinary.” CNN feverishly seized upon the CCTV footage and began broadcasting it relentlessly because Hasan is seen wearing Arab garb and Muslim headdress, fitting the carefully pre-arranged stereotype perfectly. The Smiling Assassin? Hasan’s pre-rampage behavior is completely at odds with the idea of him preparing to massacre more than a dozen of his colleagues. Just like the 7/7 bombing patsies who were filmed laughing and joking, getting into arguments and generally doing everything a terrorist would want to avoid, Hasan’s pre-attack behavior should set alarm bells ringing. Just like the 7/7 bombing patsies and the liquid bombing patsies, the description of Hasan by those reinforcing the official characterization of him as a vengeful jihadist is completely at odds with how his own family members described him. Hasan’s cousin laughed when an interviewer asked him if the shooter was “violent.” “He was just normal, loved sports, never got into trouble.” He said his family was “shocked and baffled” by the incident. “His parents didn’t want him to go into the military,” Mr. Hasan said. “He said, ‘No, I was born and raised here, I’m going to do my duty to the country.’ ” The backdrop behind Hasan’s alleged motive for the rampage also represents an inch-perfect staging for subsequent characterization of those opposed to the war on terror as lunatics, crackpots and extremists. In the hours after the event, we were told that Hasan was upset about being deployed to Iraq at the end of the month. This then mutated into the notion that Hasan was “anti-war” [4]and later we were informe [5]d that he was “facing an FBI investigation for expressing sympathy with suicide bombers.” The fact that this was known by authorities six months ago and still Hasan was not only allowed to remain at the Army base, but also invited to participate in Homeland Security exercises [6] only raises more red flags. (ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW) [7] Then the lurid details really began to pour in to reinforce the Islamic terrorist stereotype – Hasan screamed “Allah Akbar!” [8] before opening fire, he made “outlandish comments [9]concerning U.S. foreign policy.” As Michael Yaki highlights [10], the media characterization of Hasan as a Muslim terrorist was assumed by default, and almost from the first moment it seemed as though news anchors were reading from a script prepared well in advance. “Once the name of the protagonist was established, the blogs lit up and the talking heads immediately turned to the “terrorist” word. Anderson Cooper repeatedly referred to Hasan as an “American Muslim.” I somehow don’t see Cooper referring to the Columbine killers, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris as “American Protestants.” Yet, front and center, the media began their speculation on whether Hasan was a “recent convert” to Islam, what websites he visited, and whether “outside influences” — code words for Imams and terrorist recruiters — had compelled him to walk onto the base and begin his shooting rampage. Indeed, the media was playing {and replaying} up the fact that he was shown wearing “traditional” Arab garb earlier in the day as he bought some coffee, although other footage from the day before showed him wearing hospital scrubs — which thus far has never made the endless loop on CNN.” Pointing out the fact that every other killer in U.S. history was described as a “mass murderer” and not a terrorist, Yaki slams the media’s contrived and “implied presumption (that) Hasan appears to be terrorist unless proven otherwise.” Why were initial reports of three shooters reversed? Why were two alleged shooters taken into custody but quickly released? Was Hasan framed? When the dust settles on yesterday’s tragic events at Fort Hood it may indeed turn out to be the case that Nidal Malik Hasan was a lone nut seeking to exact revenge for what he saw as perpetual war crimes being carried out against the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. If that is the case, it doesn’t make such crimes acceptable nor does it mean all people who oppose the war on terror are likely to go on a shooting rampage. However, from all the evidence that has emerged thus far, and in comparing it with other terror scams in the past where patsies have been deliberately groomed and set up to be the fall guys for false flag attacks, everything we know about yesterday’s events suggests that there is infinitely more to the story of Nidal Malik Hasan than meets the eye. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Article printed from Alex Jones’ Prison Planet.com: http://www.prisonplanet.com URL to article: http://www.prisonplanet.com/everythi...ams-patsy.html URLs in this post: [1] Prison Planet.com: http://prisonplanet.com [2] who were caught on CCTV buying bulk supplies of cake: http://www.prisonplanet.com../articl...6buyscakes.htm [3] caught on camera shopping at the convenience store: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...-killings.html [4] Hasan was “anti-war” : http://gawker.com/5398546/did-the-fo...2Bwar-petition [5] later we were informe: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worl...army-base.html [6] but also invited to participate in Homeland Security exercises: http://gawker.com/5398253/nidal-hasa...yline=true&s=x [7] Image: http://infowars-shop.stores.yahoo.net/faofreprofba.html [8] screamed “Allah Akbar!”: http://www.breitbart.tv/dad-daughter...e-opened-fire/ [9] made “outlandish comments : http://www.breitbart.tv/co-worker-ft...oreign-policy/ [10] Michael Yaki highlights: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/...entry_id=51126 |

Quote:
The problem is that the shar'aa concepts of wal'aa and bar'aa (loyalty and allegiance) have NEVER been addressed to them from an ideological Islamic viewpoint. Govt. backed stooges and puppets such as ISNA, CAIR, MAS, MPAC are certainly NOT going to talk about this from this perspective as this will not get them photo-ops with politicians or an invitation to have Iftar with Bush/Obama whilst Iraq or Afghanistan is being bombed. Quote:
1. This individual entered into a haram contract by exchanging his body (via military service) for economic benefit (free education). He went in with his eyes wide open and despite his own Muslim family trying to talk him out of this as per his cousin here: “His parents didn’t want him to go into the military,” Mr. Hasan said. “He said, ‘No, I was born and raised here, I’m going to do my duty to the country.’ ” which tells you that the jahilliyah of nationalism and patriotism (concepts alien and foreign to Islam) where and still was present in this individual. Interestingly CAIR et al went on all the major news programs and are appealing to the American public on the very same haram nationalistic and patriotic grounds. 2. Sometime after the death of his parents, he began having problems trying to reconcile the Islamic understanding mentioned above with the situation he found himself in (in a position to potentially kill other Muslims overseas). This recent story from the AP makes it very clear: Danquah said Hasan never expressed anger toward the Army or indicated any plans for violence, but during the second of two conversations they had over the summer, Hasan seemed almost incoherent, he said. "But what if a person gets in and feels that it's just not right?" Danquah recalled Hasan asking him. A former classmate has said Hasan was a "vociferous opponent of the war" and "viewed the war against terror" as a "war against Islam." Dr. Val Finnell, who attended a master's in public health program in 2007-2008 at Uniformed Services University with Hasan, said he told classmates he was "a Muslim first and an American second." "In retrospect, I'm not surprised he did it," Finnell said. "I had real questions about what his priorities were, what his beliefs were." 3. Even though his legal case against going to Iraq/Afghanistan failed -- he still had a choice. He could have filed for conscientous objector status and in all likelihood would have been court martialled and sent to prison, eventually being discharged with demerits and no future benefits. This is what the boxer Muhammed Ali did in the 1960s when he was drafted for the Vietnam war. His statement here: "War is Against the teachings of the Holy Quran. I'm not trying to dodge the draft. We are not supposed to take part in wars unless declared by Allah or the Messenger. We don't take part in Christian wars or wars of any unbelievers" "I Ain't Got No Quarrel With The VietCong... No VietCong Ever Called Me a Nigger" — Muhammad Ali, 1966 along with his court case (Clay v. United States 1966-1971) Had him sent to prison which he preferred to do rather than to fight for America in Vietnam, giving up his world championship status at the peak of his career. When you fight using political means on principled grounds, you actually do more to undermine the system as well as the actions it is trying to coerce the population to do. 4. Lastly, one of the bootlickers from Chicago selectively copied/pasted a conversation to make his case: So, according to this person who is described as a "senior member" of the discussion forum at Hizb ut Tahrir, Nidal Malik Hasan's homicidal rampage is a sign of his faith? People of sincere faith know that this is an absurd notion but it does not stop extremists from espousing it and promoting it. What it IS a sign of, is that your hallucinogenic wet dream of an "Americanized" Islam with a domesticated and subservient class of American govt. house pets i.e. you -- dutifully waking up and bombing Muslims overseas -- be it in Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Iraq -- is dead on arrival. Kuffar at the senior most levels of the armed forces will now constantly call into question the loyalties and allegiance (wal'aa and bar'aa) of Muslims in America. The time is not far off when the choice between Islam and America, between baatil and the haqq, and between kufr and iman will have to be made and you and the collective fools you worship masquerading around as "sheikhs" and "scholars" can't keep hiding like cowards or straddling the fence. One of your own has already made this choice: "It is time that we acknowledge that the freedoms we enjoy in the U.S. are MORE desirable to us than superficial solidarity with the Muslim World." --Muqtedar Khan Simply put the American flag on your prayer rug and lick it while bowing down and that should make everything open for all to see.
