If this were a random act of violence, I'd say I don't see the connection between the ideology and this murder, but the fact that she was on crack and out of her senses is something we can connect to the ideology. Also under Islamic law, her husband would've been more stringently punished for sexual offences in the first place (depending on what the offence was of course)- possibly even put to death. I hope that poor child's sister is somewhere safe and well inshallah- they did the right thing to take her into care.
