George Bush is set to increase the number of American forces stationed in Iraq from the current 140,000 in the troubled country.

In an interview with the Washington Post, the President said the US military is being overstretched in the fight against terrorism and more soldiers are needed.

Senior military figures have warned him that US forces are under strength for the job they have been set.

Mr Bush said: "I'm inclined to believe that we do need to increase our troops - the Army, the Marines."

they talk about pulling troops out, but the reality is something else. when they devise a timetable for troops to pull out, its main aim is to further deceive their people/critics of the war.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. soldiers in Iraq urged their new boss on Thursday to send reinforcements, after their generals told U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates they were concerned a surge might delay the time when Iraqis take control.

On Thursday he had breakfast with ordinary soldiers to sound out their views on troop levels, a timeline for training Iraqis, sectarian leanings in the Iraqi security forces and the "calibre and discipline" of Iraqi soldiers and their military leaders.

"Sir, I think we need to just keep doing what we're doing," Specialist Jason Glenn told Gates.

"I really think we need more troops here. With more presence on the ground, more troops might hold them (the insurgents) off long enough to where we can get the Iraqi army trained up."

lol. these soldiers are supposed to defend america and there scared of a bunch of young muslims fighting them. imagine if the islmic state was at war with them.

The first line of defence for the Americans are the treachourous Arab leaders they are the first to defend Kaffirs they will spend the ummah's wealth to protect them and will even send Muslim army to attack the Mujahids.

The American marines are a bunch of cowards that can only fight with high tec weapons and with Mujahids having their hands tighed behind their backs.

When the Muslims fought the Israelies in the 73 war and the Egyptian Army crossed into the sania and Israel was on the verge of surrendring.
The Egyptian army pulled back. When the General in charge of that command was asked "why did you pull back when you was on the verge of winning"

General Shamshudeen Shazli replied "my order given by Sadat was just cross into Sania and don't attack"

Insallah one day the Kaffirs will face General Nouredeen Zangi, at the front Aqba Bin Nafi in the middle, on the right wing will be Yousef Bin Tasfeen on the left wing will be Tariq Bin Ziyad in between will be Salahudeen Ayubi, Zarrar Bin Azwaar, Musa Bin Nasir, and in the back flank will be Khalid Bin Walid and the veterans of Badr.

Then we will see how these cowards will fight.
