On the eve of 9/11 being remembered it is very appropiate that a video is released showing Osama Bin Laden meeting with the 'hijackers'. A gentle reminder to the people.

Al-Jazeera airs pre-9/11 bin Laden tape

Al-Jazeera broadcast Thursday what it called a previously unshown video in which al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden is seen meeting with some of the Sept. 11 hijackers. The station did not say how it obtained the video, which was produced by As-Sahab, al-Qaida's media branch.

The video showed bin Laden sitting with his former lieutenant Mohammed Atef and Ramzi Binalshibh, another suspected planner of the Sept. 11, 2001, suicide hijackings.

Atef, also known as Abu Hafs al-Masri, was killed by a U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan in 2001. Binalshibh was captured four years ago in Pakistan and is in U.S. custody, and this week President Bush announced plans to put him on military trial.

In the video, bin Laden was wearing a dark robe and white headgear walking in a mountainous area. He smiled as he greeted several men, which the tape said were Sept. 11 hijackers.

Don't know how gentle it is, especially if you consider all the propganda "documentaries" which are being pumped out and shoved down everyone's throat with the aim of keeping the fear in their people, and keep apologetic Muslims on the backfoot in submission to them, using some of them to fight Islam.

Looks like they will be repeating this every year for a long time to come and may even replace the myth of the Holocaust as the nauseating reminder for centuries.

SA,

Lets be fare. 3000 people were alleged to have lost their lives on that day. If they choose to remember that day then sobeit.
HOWEVER. Recent 9/11 anniversaries are inextricably lined with the “War on Terror”. So now we not only get “they died wasn’t it sad” but we also get “who are these extremists that want to implement Islam” Its my observation that with each passing year they move more to the middle ground of Islam. Not just targeting those who would carry out acts of violence as extremists, but those who might sympathise with them, share their goals or ideals……. Don’t all Muslims ultimately share the same goals and ideals?
